Hi! I’m Sarah.

Being a daughter in an Air Force family, I was born in Key West and lived in England and Alabama. My roots are in Northern Virginia, though, where I’ve lived for most of my life. Although I studied psychology and work full-time in the Special Education field for Fairfax County, photography has been a serious hobby of mine ever since I was given my first DSLR in college. For a while, my dream job was to travel the world photographing landscapes and wildlife for National Geographic. Over the years, though, I have completely fallen in love with portrait photography. Being able to give people captured memories that they can cherish and share totally fills my soul! I love the posed smiles, but I love the in-between moments more. 

When I’m not working my full-time job or photographing part-time, I’m spending time with my husband, keeping up with our two toddler boys, and visiting friends and family. I love coffee, traveling, girls’ nights (with wine, of course), crime shows, reading, games, and football.
